Cinnamon Chocolate Bark with Halloween Sprinkles

We dipped into a savory dish last week with that delicious butternut tomato soup. This week we are going back to sweet. I have some fun things in store and one of them is this easy peasy cinnamon chocolate bark! It’s packed full of pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pecans, and cinnamon chips. We topped it with fun Halloween sprinkles

A little piece of this after dinner hits the spot. We are huge fans of chocolate bark in the Delish In A Pinch kitchen because chocolate is the perfect vessel for nuts and seeds (really anything). The cinnamon chips give it that hint of fall taste.

Did I mention how easy it is to make? Super easy and fun!

When I need to make the bark in a hurry, I pop it in the freezer so the chocolate sets faster. 30 minutes should do the trick.

I make different variations of bark, depending on the type of chocolate in the home, as well as what I can add to the chocolate. In saying that, dried fruit, marshmallows, cereals, and nuts all work. Look in your pantry!!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Line a quarter sheet pan (9x13) with parchment paper.
  2. In a double boiler, add the chocolate and stir slowly till the chocolate is melted. Or melt chocolate in a glass bowl in a saucepan over simmering water. Water should not touch the chocolate. Take the chocolate off of the stove.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds, 1/2 cup cinnamon chips, pecans, and walnuts into melted chocolate and stir gently until all the add-ins are covered in chocolate.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the parchment paper and spread evenly in the quarter (1/4) sheet pan. Sprinkle the remaining pumpkin seeds, cinnamon chips, and sprinkles of your choice on top of the chocolate. Set aside for 2 hours for chocolate too firm. Also, can be popped into the fridge to speed up the process.
  5. Break the bark or cut into 2-3 inch pieces and they are ready to eat.
