S’mores brownies fill the home with the sweetest aroma and these are serious brownies. There is no joking around with them. They are on a mission to fill you with chocolatey goodness.
These brownies hit the top three list. Which is not an easy feat!
ENJOY! Let me know how these fair with your lot and consider this a formal invitation to the ‘Brownie squad’.
This recipe has been altered but the original inspiration has been drawn from the book ‘Home Baked Comfort’.
Hera’s Pinch
If you are looking for just a wonderful brownie base recipe, eliminate the marshmellows and graham crackers.
S’mores were first introduced in their true form in 1927 in a Girl’s Scouts handbook.

- Whisk in vanilla and salt.
- Sift the flour and cocoa over the chocolate mixture. Using a spatula, stir until just blended.
- Roughly crush and stir in the graham crackers.
- Pour batter into the 9x13 baking dish and top evenly with marshmallows.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost completely clean, 30-35 mins. Let them cool in the dish on a wire wack and then cut them into yummy squares.
